WALK, BIKE & ROLL TO SCHOOL - May 4th 2022

We sure had fun today as over 100 of our students walked, biked and rolled to school.

Every student that participated in our 0.6 mile walk to school got a dress down pass for use any day in May. That may have driven our great turnout - they LOVE dress down passes.

Check out all the photos in our gallery below.

There is nothing better than to see children walk our community streets safely, and having a bit of fun.

Along the way they stopped to investigate local sites, like the art at UCreate Macon on the corner of Third and Ward. They checked out the gorgeous manhole covers we have in Pleasant Hill (yup, bet you didn’t know that). And best of all, they talked to some of our neighbors who popped out to see who was bringing some extra giggles and chatter to the community.

Thank you to our wonderful friends at Vineville United Methodist Church, Bike Walk Macon, UCreate Macon, and the Macon-Bibb Pedestrian Safety Review Board for helping keep us (and our environment) active, happy and healthy.
