BLAST OFF WITH POWERUP PREP!

And we are off to the races with PowerUP Prep. Just like students all over the country, COVID-19 has taken a toll on our students’ learning too. Thanks be to God, this summer, SPCCS students are the beneficiaries of funding allocated from the Emergency Assistance to Non-Public Schools (EANS) Program. With this program, 80 SPCCS students are attending a Catapult Learning summer school conveniently located on our campus, completely cost free from 7AM to 6PM Monday - Friday. The EANS Program did not include food, so, in partnership with our friends at The Boys & Girls Club of Central Georgia, our students are being served breakfast and lunch too, cost free. The kids are into it, the teachers are rocking it, the High School volunteers are bringing lots of energy and we are so happy to see students back on campus for the summer working hard to address learning loss (and having fun too). They will be PRIMED and PREPPED for success in the new school year.
