All SPCCS Families Are Eligible
The FCC has opened up a new EMERGENCY BROADBAND BENEFIT. ALL OUR SCHOOL FAMILIES ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY. No social security numbers required.
It provides the following discounts:
(i) Up to $50/ month for broadband service and associated equipment rental; and
(ii) Up to $100 for the purchase of a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from PARTICIPATING providers (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50).
Only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household.
ENROLLMENT IS OPEN. Apply here. NOTE: This is a temporary program that will end when the fund funs out of money, or six months after the COVID health emergency is over, whichever is sooner.
ELIGIBILITY: All of our school families are eligible to apply for this benefit. Because of COVID, and the hard work of our Director of Nutrition, 100% of our students are approved to receive the benefit of Free and Reduced-Price School Breakfast or Lunch Program this school year.
