Physical Education Teacher

Hello, my name is Lucy Lowry.  I have 3 children with a marriage of almost 40 years. I am experienced and certified in Health and Physical Education with over 37 years experience. This is my 2nd  year at St. Peter Claver Catholic School as the part-time Physical Education teacher for grades PreK3 through 7th grade.

I have a flexible style of teaching that can cater to all students and abilities. I would also say that I am a high-achieving teacher that is passionate about engaging students on all levels; plus, enhancing their social experiences by encouraging group lessons and learning.

The primary and elementary grade level will focus on movement concepts, manipulation skills, dance and cooperation; in addition, the upper elementary will be introduced to individual and team sports.

Middle school grades will focus on expansion of learned movements and manipulative skills; therefore, applying them in a variety of team and individual activities.
